With the help of our educated and certified teachers, Evolve Dance Centre has developed an incredible program to help dancers of all ages and levels achieve their Acrobatic goals. The season begins with a focus on strength training and flexibility. As the weeks move forward, your dancer will work through our Acrobatic Monthly Goal Program to attain skills and tricks accustomed to their current abilities. Acrobatics is the perfect combination of dance and gymnastics and well suited for all. Interested in more? This class is scheduled to compliment our Junior Academy Hip Hop Class and Junior Academy Ballet Class.

Junior Academy Hip Hop

Class 1: Wednesday's from 5:00-5:45pm
Class 2: Saturday's from 11:15-12:00pm

This energetic and vibrant class is a studio favourite. Each week features technique, combinations and a new music. Our Hip Hop classes will teach your dancer coordination and mind-body connection. Watch your child's confidence soar as they perform their weekly combo under our disco lights! Keep an eye out on your students monthly take-home report for music they can expect to hear throughout the upcoming month. Interested in more? This class is scheduled closely with both of our Junior Academy Acro and Junior Academy Jazz class.

Junior Academy Ballet

Class 1: Saturday's from 9:45-10:30am

Registering for our ballet program will give your dancer outstanding technique to benefit them in all areas of their training. Teaching from the Russian Society of Ballet Syllabus, your dancer will learn to perfect their posture, flexibility, grace, discipline and overall ballet technique. Evolve Dance Centre does offer ballet examinations yearly (If interested in ballet exams, please inquire about our "twice a week" ballet option). Interested in more? Intro to Tap

Class 1: Thursday's from 5:45-6:30pm

This introductory class is a perfect opportunity for your dancer to experience Tap - an energetic genre of dance. Evolve Dance Centre basis their tap program less on age and more on experience and ability. With focus on rhythm and musicality and fundamental tap training, your dancer will make music with their feet and have a blast! Junior Academy Tap

Class 1: Thursday's from 7:15-8:00pm

Junior Academy tap is an extension of Intro to Tap outlined above. When a dancer grows beyond the increasing difficulty of one class, they will be moved into the next. Intermediate tap requires at least 1 year of tap dance experience. This energetic and inspiring class is focused on music theory, the history of tap dance, rhythm and understanding of fundamental tap steps. Tap is a stimulating and engaging class for dancers who love music and rhythm. Interested in more? This class is scheduled closely with our Junior Academy Ballet and Junior Academy Jazz classes.

Junior Academy Jazz

Class 1: Saturday's from 12:00-12:45pm

These classes are the perfect opportunity for your dancer to experience Jazz - an energetic and engaging genre of dance.  Each class begins with a full body warm up, moves to flexibility training, technique and skill practice and an end of class combination. Jazz class is a fast paced environment and captures the attention of all dancers, young and old. This class will benefit from our goal setting program. A program that teaches children to set appropriate goals and chase them. Interested in more? This class is scheduled back to back with our Junior Academy Hip Hop class.
